Launch Announcement: "The Intrapersonal Voyager (Out of the House)"

MO | Curatorial ArtLab is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of "The Intrapersonal Voyager (Out of the House)," a new long-term, process-based real-time studio performance by multidisciplinary artist Chira Ona.

The daily ritual-investigation will officially begin on November 1, 2026, and will continue until NASA’s Voyager 1 spacecraft completely loses radio contact with Earth, which is projected to occur around 2030–2031.

The choice of November carries deep symbolic weight. This month marks a historical cosmological threshold (approximately November 18, 2026) when the light travel time signal delay from the spacecraft to Earth will reach exactly 24 hours for the first time in human history. By capturing raw interstellar telemetry data from the NASA Deep Space Network, the performance will physically manifest on canvas humanity's fading connection with the spacecraft.
